I loaded a couple dozen of the 4.4 PP loads and will take them out later in the week and hopefully have no issues so I can crank out the rest of the 500 count box. Never had any signs of pressure with any of them either. It is odd to me that the lower powder charge with longer OAL worked when I had tried 3.6 using an OAL of. The longer HP38 loads were not as good, 3.1 had some stovepipes, but 3.4 cycled fine. The first two batches of PP were not hot enough for reliable function, but 4.1 and 4.4 both cycled well, with 4.4 putting all the rounds into a nice tight group of about 1.5 inches at 7 yards. 940 I had run to max +) and had better luck.
I took the Power Pistol loads out today as well as some more HP38 with the OAL increased out to. Going to try some Power Pistol next, but am wondering if I should tweak my COAL first and see what happens. I have gone to max charge with HP38 and still not getting reliable cycling. 380s, but will not function in the Glock. 380 loads that all work fine in our other. I have several hundred rounds of a few different. This load is for a Glock 42, which is proving to be a picky little bitch when it comes to my reloads. That is pretty well impossible with handgun bullets ( at least the ones I load) but is there a rule of thumb for pistol bullets? I have been loading the 100gr flat point bullets to. I know with rifles I read that you should try to have one bullet caliber length seated in the case.
I was messing with seating and to get that length or a load that is long but fits in the magazine I barely have any bullet in the case. 380 threads and it seems like most people are going about. I got a box of these and am curious if anyone else is loading them, and if so what COAL you are going with?
